What is better than watching 12 gosu gamers battle it out against each other in a game of warcraft 3 1v1? Well, 12 old school warcraft 3 players battle it out vs each other in 1v1. Even better than that is old school vs new school. This is exactly what the new Warcraft 3 Shadow League is about.
12 New school profesionals split up into 2 groups as well as 12 old school pro’s also split up into 2 groups, battling it out to come out the victor of new school and old school and in the end will be what is gauranteed to be a mind blowing final between the new school group winner and old school group winner.

The league has been running since the start of September, and with names like FoCuS, ReMiND, Moon, Insomnia, MaDFroG, Showtime. We are definately going to see some insane games.
The map pool consists of old school RoC maps as well as the newer maps from TFT. These include Lost Temple, Plunder Isle, Secret Valley, Tranquil Path, Two Rivers, Turtle Rock and Twisted Meadows.
I’ve downloaded some of the replays and have watched the old school players’ games mostly. One in particular being my personal favourate Insomnia, he definately seems to be on form. My money would be on Insomnia taking the league. In my opinion he has always been a rock solid human player.
