The Logitech G9x Laser Mouse is fully customizable; from changing the color of the LED’s and the weight of the mouse to the feel of the mouse and changing the mouse’s DPI on the fly.

Wide Load and Precision grips
The G9x comes packed with two grips and it is easy to swap between the two, as the grips just click on and off. The first grip, the “Wide Load”, which as the name suggest is a big sized grip and is very comfortable, with a thumb rest on the side keeping your thumb from dragging on theĀ mouse pad. The second grip, called the “Precision” grip is much more compact for finger tip control, and comes with a micro-textured surface that Logitech calls DryGrip technology.
The mouse has your typical left and right buttons, with your scroll wheel (made of metal and finished off with a rubber grip) in the middle acting as a third button along with left and right scrolling. On the left of the mouse you have your two thumb buttons. Underneath the left mouse button are two buttons that let you change the DPI of your mouse on the fly. Go from a slow 200 dpi to a lighting fast 5000 dpi without having to exit any games.

Underneath the G9x
The mouse wheel can be swapped to one of two modes by pressing a button underneath the mouse. By pressing the button you can change whether or not you want the wheel to spin smoothly or make that “clicking” sound everytime you scroll.
Another nice feature of the G9x is the ability to change the weight of the mouse to a comfortable weight that suits you. Just click off your grip to reveal the weight tray that slides out the back of the mouse. From here you can add up to 28 gramms of mass in four sockets, distributing the weight up front, in the back, or evenly accross. The weights are neatly packaged in a steel container.
The G9x really allows you to change/tune any aspect of it. The ability to change grips to fit your needs, change the LED colors to fit your mood, programable buttons and even save up to 5 profiles to the onboard memory of the mouse. This truly is a one of a kind gaming mouse.
