Sony Ericsson Xperia X10
The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 is being hurled into the Android market which is currently gaining a whole lot of momentum. With HTC having launched quite a few android phones already, we could call them the Android leaders. However, it’s only right for the other manufacturers to come in and introduce new phones loaded with their take on the Android OS.
Sony Ericsson (SE) have totally chopped up the Android interface and come up with what they call the SE UX (user experience). They have self proclaimed the interface as “the most open, human and intuitive user experience yet”. We still have to see it for ourselves but by the sounds of it we are getting dam close to true AI (artificial intelligence) even if SE have not completely got it.
Two exciting features that SE have brought to the table are their own products known as Timescape™ and Mediascape. Timescape™ sounds amazing, it basically will manage and converge all communication with one person into one place. This way you can see every single conversation over Twitter, Facebook, email, sms and more from one person in one place. Very nifty when so much conversation is happening and can be lost very easily.
Mediascape is an multimedia tool. It delivers your favourite multimedia content aggregated from various sources such as YouTube, your phone, PlayNow; presenting it all to you so that you can easily access it.
The most promising features and ones that should hopefully give us a glimpse of AI is the phones ability to recognise connections between contact, content and media on your phone. One of the features is facial recognition; the phone will try recognise faces in a photo you take and attempt a connection on the many social platforms.

We actually can’t wait to get our hands on the phone which should be hitting our shores early next year.
