Life in HD with the Sony Ericsson Vivaz

Sony Ericsson Vivaz

Sony Ericsson Vivaz

HD is quickly becoming the norm with almost every LCD monitor that is being sold out there having it as a non-optional extra. It would only be natural for the mobile market to follow and Sony Ericsson have come to the game with the Vivaz. Welcome to the next generation multimedia phone… we hope.

The phone does sound like it will have it all. The ability to capture, view and share HD video makes it seem like a very good phone to have, that is if it does it right.

It will be on the Symbian OS even though Windows Mobile and Android are where all the talk is at the moment especially with Nexus One and Windows Mobile 7.

I would definitely be expecting all the bells and whistles from Sony Ericsson with this phone and they seemingly have not let me down. HD video (720p), social networking apps, 8.1 megapixel camera (with a flash – if that’s what “photo light” and “video light” means), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5 mm audio jack, TV out (VGA resolution) and a 16.9 nHD wide touch-screen (3.2 inches with a resolutions of 640 x 360 nHD).

Is it worth the R4300 price tag? I definitely think so.
