Puma Phone
The last people I expect to make any sort of phone let alone a smartphone is PUMA. Although having said that if they were to make a phone then it would probably be quite a stylish one. So when PUMA announced their new phone at MWC a few weeks ago we were pretty shocked but at the same time excited by what they have to offer and obviously by they way the phone looked.
The phone will have all the required smartphone features like internet, messaging, gps localization, video calling which makes it a dam good looking device to have around the office. PUMA have thrown in an extra feature to take note of, solar charging. The entire back cover acts as a solar panel allowing you to charge your phone on the move.
There will also be PUMA applications but no word on what they will be developed in or what OS the phone is running. I would expect a very limited range of applications aimed at lifestyle, fashion and sport.
Europe will only see the phone in April 2010 with no news about it coming to South Africa.
