BarCamp Africa 2010
The inaugural BarCamp Africa event has been announced and will be hosted in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast) on the 4 – 7 June 2010. What the event aims to do is bring together people from all over Africa in order to share ideas, inspiration, and knowledge that cross both ideological and language borders.
As Africa closes the gap between itself and the tech leaders of the world, events like these help thrust it even closer to competing with the “big boys”. Check out the website for more information.
