Lucas Radebe with a Lenovo ThinkPad Edge
Lenovo and Intel have come together to create the Legends Soccer Team and at the same time Lenovo drop the new ThinkPad Edge on us.
The idea is to create a synergy between sport, art and technology. Basically the “team” will be travelling to schools in the southern suburbs of Joburg where each school will be given the chance to show what effect sport and technology will have in their lives on a piece of canvas. There will also be an evaluation made by the team at the schools of all grade 7 male (a bit sexist) learners. The team is head up by Lucas Radebe who is seen pictured above with the new Lenovo ThinkPad Edge.
Lenovo and Intel Initiative
The ThinkPad looks distinctly Lenovo, however it has been giving a little bit of a design upgrade with a glassy feel and white edging. There are 13″, 14″ and 15″ options available (because every inch makes a difference) with the 13″ fetching a price of around R11 000. All the options seem to be pretty decent with Windows 7 and the “worst” processor being a 2.53 GHz Core 2 Duo.
